Our Campaign Journey Begins
Stepping up, stepping out
It is said that the longest journey begins with a
single step. But what if our campaign journey began, not with
a single step; but with several hundred Kappas, joined with
clasped hands “stepping out” together
toward a common goal? How much shorter and rewarding would our
journey become.
Our journey to renovate the Kappa House started about seven
months ago when we applied for a façade easement grant from
the Brush Park Development Corporation .This grant is
earmarked for exterior improvements exclusively to restore the
house to circa 1945 architectural vintage.
After several months of developing remodeling plans, obtaining
contractor bid quotations, and establishing financial goals,
we are now well poised to embark upon our capital campaign
journey.
This ambitious yet challenging journey is aimed to restore and
renovate 269 Erskine to the stately grandeur so rightly
deserved and once enjoyed.
No doubt as we closely follow this interesting transition
we’ll rekindle some exciting memories experienced during our
college campus days.
So please join hands with your fellow Kappa brothers and walk
lock- step together and shorten our journey through your
generous contribution.
